I remember how i started my business and with position I am in, it would be nice to return to society what they have given me.

This is still under consideration, so I would rather like your opinions before I make a final decision.

I am thinking on sponsoring or supporting small businesses and provide entrepreneurs opportunity to start their projects. This would mean alot of risk to me financially, but if it clicks right, someone can start making their living.

I don't intend to provide finance to start business, but resources, which though are owned by me, but provided for free for say 3 months to let people make serious efforts. Once business starts booming, they wouldn't need free resources from me. They may continue to use same at reasonable rates or use other resources.

Resources i plan to offer are small common office location (shared by few more entrepreneurs like them), webhosting, some promotion.

What do you guys and gals think? Would this be a good opportunity for entrepreneurs who aren't having much cash?

Do you have any other suggestions?

That sounds like a really good idea. I know that a lot of entrepreneurs are discouraged because of the initial development phase. If you can offer such services to them for free then that would be more then amazing.

Perhaps have a contract signed before hand protecting both parties is just my two cents. Also, you never know if the person you helped will be the next CEO of microsoft and can you hear royalties :p

What kind of resources are you considering? I am planning on starting a driving range (if the business case is clear).
