Well, kind of in a haphazard way I've launched the site with a Press Release.

I used PRWEB and the Press Release can be seen here.
Canadian Entrepreneur Launches CanadaEntrepreneur.ca, an On-line Community for Canadian Entrepreneurs (http://prweb.com/releases/canadian/entrepreneur/prweb447270.htm)

Usually or normally if I ever do a Press Release for the launch of a site (especially a Canadian Orientated site) I'll use the Canadian Press Release Services which are fairly well priced.

PRWEB can have a great effect on your site as well.

It's a free service but you can pay a small upgrade for advanced features that have to do with SEO, your inclusion in Google & Yahoo news and your placement on the front page.

I've paid as much as $200 but have found the results to be no different then at the $80 level.

The internet is flooded with Press Release submitters and submission sites. In my earlier experiences, I have come to realize that despite promising SEO and related features, PR if written well is sufficient to make an impact, more so if its SEO optimizes as far as keywords are concerned.

Also, we should never discard free submission sites and also submission should be made to as many sites as possible. It is all about your reach. More people you are able to reach out, better is for your business, because world has been reduced to a global village.

As for this forum, its great to advertise in sites targetting Canada audience, but we should not forget that many business establishments expand their businesses cross border and advertisements in US markets also helps. Besides more popular your product is globally, better for your business.
